Our next Fraternal Benefit Seminar is coming up on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:00 pm. The topic of this seminar is Council Accounts: A Council's Charitable Resource and will discuss how a council account with Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund (KCCF) can help your council fundraise more effectively to support fraternal programs and grow your charitable assets. This webinar will be co-hosted by KCCF team members Dennis Gerber and Evan Holguin along with Drew Dillingham, Director of Programs and is sponsored by your Kansas General Agents.
Promote it among your members and encourage your council members and potential members to attend and satisfy one of the two yearly required fraternal benefit seminars to achieve your Founders’ Award goals. You can register for the event online. Any Knight or potential Knight is welcome to attend.
To aid you in promoting the event among your members, potential members, and their families, you are welcome download any of the resources we have available in the “media kit”. You are welcome to create your own, but our intention was to make this as easy for you as possible.
For the current fraternal year, all councils must host / promote at least two Fraternal Benefit Events. The required sum total attendance of members, or member eligible men, at these events must equal or exceed 10 for councils with 99 or fewer members or 14 for councils with 100 or more members. In order for the council to receive credit, the grand knight must submit the new online form #11077 within seven days of the seminar.
Begin promoting the event with your council and parish soon.
